Ukraine Elections War, could change face of their Forex

The opposition leader of Ukraine’s Presidential election Viktor Yanukovych’s declaration was much awaited. According to the supporters of the Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko who said that they would contest in court on the conduct of the elections which they think is not fair. However international monitors think that the elections were fair and free.

The media quoted the deputy leader of Tymoshenko’s blocs and said that they could challenge the result by seeking a recount at a few of its polling stations.

Almost 99% of the votes have been counted and Yanukovych had gotten victory by a narrow margin at 48.83 votes where as Tymoshenko was at 45.59 % votes.

Yanukovych was also the former Prime Minister who called upon the current one to quit, she obviously refused to and even told the media that her team was holding a “parallel count” and also asked her supporters to “fight for every result, every document, and every vote.”

The campaign managers of Tymoshenko have said that there was vote rigging and there were efforts as well to not allow a few of their representatives to take on seats for the election. There however seems to be a huge challenge to the outcome although it is peaceful and there are no street protests as of yet. According to a few international observers there was no tampering in the votes that were held on Sunday.
